In fact S&W Wire was originally created in 1988 to address the need for quick turnaround manufacture of insulated magnet wire. Our in-house insulation capabilities include several production lines specifically designed for insulating magnet wire. From wrapping to heat curing we control the process from start to finish.

In fact we offer enameled insulation as well as polyglass fabric and  polyimide tape just to name a few types of insulation. We can also insulate magnet wire to meet your exact specifications and can assist you with choosing the right materials and process to meet your application requirements.

Because we manufacture insulated magnet wire in-house, it allows us to control production quality and consistency and allows us to produce on-demand and emergency stock when our clients require it. Our technical facilities combined with our years of experience enable us to offer custom insulations that many companies don’t offer.
